Heart Rhythm
After 5 years of Atrial Fibrillation, heart arrythmia, basically 2 episodes every year, God surprised and delighted me with supernatural healing.
To other A/F patients, this process can often occur, but in every one of my previous 9 episodes of A/F, prayer, medication, or rest did not stop the arrythmia so I had to undergo electro cardioversion in hospital to regain normal, sinus rhythm of my heart.
On Friday, October 4th, 2024, after almost 13 months of being in sinus rhythm and of course praising God for healing, to my sad disappointment, my heart slipped once again into A/F.
The first miracle was obtaining the only GP appointment at my clinic that very morning before the long weekend. After the nurse performed the usual ECG, which verified A/F, the GP notified my cardiologist and I was booked for cardioversion for the following week.
I spent the day quietly in scriptures and listening to speakers as I was unable to function very well with the dizziness anyway. During this time Ezekiel 36:36 was mentioned. It caught my attention but I didn't know the verse offhand. It resonated with me as I read it and wrote it down.
'The LORD has rebuilt the ruined places and planted what was desolate
I, the LORD, have spoken it and I will do it.'
I believed this could apply to my heart. I immediately felt the brain fog lift, checked my watch, which has an app for heart rhythm, to discover I was indeed back in sinus rhythm. I have heard of Rhema words but never experienced one till then. My husband was amazed too as he had never seen this occur to me. I spent the long weekend giving all the praise and glory to God but the enemy was not impressed so he attacked me physically and spiritually during Sunday night. Again, God strengthened me to not fear but wield the Sword of Spirit at him so he departed before light. The GP verified on Tuesday, I was back in normal rhythm but I was so glad that I had written proof from the ECG on the Friday of my miracle healing.
I am still a work in progress, as 4 months later, my heart slipped back into arrythmia. After much prayer and anticipation, I still had to have another cardioversion on February 5th but my LORD is totally in control. My life is in His hands so if He chooses to use me in the hospital setting, then so be it!
He did remind me a couple of years ago that I'm His witness and His servant. Praise the LORD Jesus forevermore!
